Construction worker killed in accident

(Cullman, Alabama)  --  A construction worker was killed Friday in Cullman County after building material fell on him.

A 54-year-old man died when the material fell on him at a work site on Highway 278 at Kugler Creek.

Workers are currently straightening and expanding the road, which has been the scene of deadly accidents in the past few years.
